David C. Yang, MD
With 27 years of practice in traditional western medicine and more than 10 years of experience in supplemental nutrition treatment, Dr. David Yang is a pioneer in the field of Anti-Aging Medicine among Asian physicians.
Upon earning his M.D. degree at the China Medical University in Taiwan in 1969, Dr. Yang completed his surgical internship at French and Polyclinic Hospital, New York City from 1971 to 1972. He performed his residency of anesthesiology at New York University Hospital in 1972 to 1973 and pediatric residency at Misericordia Hospital of New York City from 1973 to 1976.
After 17 years of practice in traditional medicine, Dr. Yang realized the limitation of medications which can only ease the symptoms but not cure the disease at the source, not to mention the harmful side effects. He started studying and researching other possibilities and utilized neutraceutical theories and products to help his patients. The result has been successful thus encouraging him to expand his vision to investigate more beneficial treatments to reach the optimal health. He recognized that anti-aging medicine is the trend for the 21st century because it can slow, stop or even reverse the aging process thus preventing diseases and prolonging life.
Many medical literatures and clinical evidences indicate that, through early detection of risk factors, treatment of age-related disease, innovative nutritional therapies, hormone replacement therapy, dieting and exercise, humans can extend their life spans to 100 years or more and enjoy the optimal quality of life.
Dr. Yang has been active all his life. He jogs and walks everyday and plays golf every week. He has traveled around the world. When he was approaching 50, he considered himself healthy but started noticing subtle decrease of his energy and changes in his physical appearance.
After earning his diploma with American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine, Dr. Yang initiated his personal anti-aging program and experienced the amazing result. He lost 17 pounds and his energy level and endurance increased tremendously. His friends and colleagues witnessed his difference and asked his advice for the same treatment. They also experienced the improvement.
Dr. Yang founded the MD Anti-Aging Institute to help the public achieve optimal health, extend life span and advance quality of life.
In addition to his practice as a traditional medical physician and anti-aging doctor, as a volunteer, Dr. Yang has served as the President of Taiwanese Medical Association of Orange County in 1980 and the President of the Taiwan Medical Society of Southern California in 1988. He is also the Founder and President of Asian American Anti-Aging Association.
Dr. Yang travels extensively in the US and to Asia to lecture on anti-aging topics. He is a regular speaker on TV and Radio programs. He is periodically invited to contribute health related articles in a variety of publications and medical journals. He is the author of Nutrition and Diseases, a case study of nutraceutical treatments.
